From the course: “How to Be Happy at Work” — designed for people who’ve had enough of the stress and want something better.
We’ve all heard the usual pep talks.
“Just be more positive.”
“Don’t take things so personally.”
“Change your mindset, and everything changes.”
But what if that’s complete rubbish?
Because here’s the truth: you can’t fix a toxic environment with a better attitude.
I’ve worked with many people over the years — people who are smart, capable, motivated… and miserable at work. In some cases it’s not because they’re broken, but because the system they’re in is broken.
Maybe that’s you too.
Maybe you show up each day trying your best but still end up questioning yourself. Maybe the stress follows you home, eats away at your confidence, and leaves you dreading Monday before Sundays even finished.
And then you wonder — is it just me?
Well, it may not be ‘just you’.
Most workplaces today are asking a lot from people. Constant availability. Endless “resilience.” Smile through it all. Never push back. Be a team player — even if the team is drowning.
But real happiness at work doesn’t necessarily come from pushing harder or pretending you’re fine. It can come from learning how to see the system for what it is, making conscious choices, and finding ways to keep your footing — even when things are unstable around you.
That’s exactly why I created the How to Be Happy at Work course.
Not to sugar-coat reality. Not to sell you on the power of magical thinking.
But to offer a grounded, real-world approach to navigating a workplace that sometimes feels more mad than manageable — with strategies that work even when nothing else seems to.
